Wiley Howard Fletcher

Wiley Howard Fletcher, 96, of Granite Falls, passed away peacefully on Friday August 22, 2025 at Hibriten Mountain Nursing and Rehab in Lenoir following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Fletcher was born on August 7, 1929 in Perry County, KY to the late Shelby Fletcher and Mary Ellen Nickell Fletcher. He was a United States Airforce Veteran and retired from the military after 20 years of service to our country.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Catherine Dupont Fletcher; two sons, Charles Fletcher and Chester Fletcher; his daughter, Teresa Fletcher; and one brother and numerous sisters.

Survivors include his sons, Terry Allen Fletcher of Granite Falls, Rickey Fletcher of Granite Falls, Christopher Fletcher of Corpus Christi, TX, Chad Fletcher of Sawmills, Chip Fletcher of Panama City, FL, and Champ Fletcher of Sawmills; his daughters, Randee Osborne of Sawmills, Cheryl Burris of Panama City, FL, and Chrystal Appling of Bowling Green, KY; also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held by the family at a later date.
