Vicky Lynn Bennett

Mrs. Vickie Lynn Bennett, 49, of Lenoir passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Amorem Hospice of Hudson following a period of declining health.

Vickie was born November 11, 1976 in Caldwell County to Mrs. Josephine Church Bennett and the late Clarence Bennett. She worked as a Victims Advocate for the Shelter Home of Caldwell County.

In addition to her father, she reunites in Heaven with her sister, Linda Church.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Robert Bennett; children, Austin Barnett and Amber Barnett; mother, Josephine Bennett; brothers, Ray Church, Daniel Bennett, Marty Bennett, and William Bennett; sisters, Melissa Canterbury and Christina Bennett, and four grandchildren.

To mourn a soul grown so familiar,

To part is sorrow in extreme.

Never to see the light it seems,

To loose this soul vanish like a dream.

To describe that life shed a tear.

Short lived, their way, with out fear.

To let go of this life, slip into the darkness.

To feel no more, to be no more.

To be remembered is all,

Just a picture in the wall,

Stories to tell,

May never forget my love,

Farewell.
