Vera Hall Jordan

Vera Mae Hall Jordan, 93, of Hickory, departed this life to her heavenly home on Thursday July 24, 2025 at College Pines Nursing Center, following a period of declining health.

Vera was born on September 12, 1931 in Caldwell County, to the late Grover Hall and Lila Clontz Hall. She was a self employed hairdresser and was also retired from MDI. She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Connelly Springs.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge Jordan; and her daughter, Beverly Coonse.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Steve Coonse, Jr (Julie) of Hudson, Brian Coonse of Kentucky, and Michelle Coonse of Hudson; her son-in-law, Steve Coonse, Sr. of Hudson; her brothers and sisters, Willa Dean Miller (Kermit) of Hudson, Dot Fairchild of Granite Falls, Leonard Hall (Sue) of Granite Falls, and Rhona Montgomery (Brad) of King, NC.
