Todd Wayne Hannah

Mr. Todd “Wayne” Hannah, 64, of Lenoir passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at his home following a period of declining health.

Wayne was born February 26, 1962 in Catawba County to Mrs. Virginia Ruth Ates Hannah and the late Lee Marvin Hannah. He worked in the furniture industry and as a Race Official for 40 years at Hickory Motor Speedway.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Tina Robin Thompson, nephew, James Thompson, II, and aunt, Rosa Lee Ackerson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Susan Hannah of Lenoir; mother, Virginia Ruth Hannah of Newton; brothers, Richard “Allen” Hannah of Hickory and William Lee Hannah of Newton; sisters, Deborah Lynn Bowen of Conover and Julia Worley of Claremont; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving is his devoted prayer warrior, Kevin Piercy of Newton.
