Ronnie Glenn Brittain

Ronnie Glenn Brittain, 74, of Granite Falls Exited this life and entered his heavenly home on January 17, 2026, at Frye Regional Medical Center.

Ronnie was born on July 22, 1951, in Caldwell County to the late Wilburn Eli Brittan and Faye Bolick Brittain.

In addition to his parents Ronnie is Proceeded in death by his loving wife Sheila Ann Brittain, his Son Steven Brittain and his Daughter Deana Henderson Powell.

Ronnie had a great passion for fishing and found peace and joy in the quiet moments spent on the water. His love for family and nature was evident in everything he did. He also dedicated much of his life to serving others through his work with the North Catawba Fire Department, where he faithfully supported families throughout the Catawba County area. Ronnie’s commitment to his community reflected the strength of his character and the kindness of his heart. He will be remembered for his love, his service, and the joy he brought to those around him.

Those left to cherish his memories include his 3 children: Clinton Brittain and wife Michelle of Granite Falls. Matthew Brittain and wife Katrina of Granite Falls, Samuel “Kash” Brittain of Granite Falls. Brothers; Dennis Brittain and wife Margarita of Statesville, Mitchel Brittain and wife Laura of Granite Falls. Grandchildren; Alisha Munson and Husband Zac of Hamlet, Brooklyn Brittain of Granite Falls, Kamdyn Brittain and wife Brooklyn of Granite Falls, Dakota Massagee of Lenoir, Austin Massagee of Hudson, Curtis Massagee of Granite Falls, Luke Brittain of Granite Falls, Mason Brittain of Granite Falls and Holly Eubank and husband Shane of Granite Falls.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 24th at 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.
