Ronald Lee McLain, 79, of Connelly Springs passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at his home.

Ronald was born February 26, 1947 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late James and Geraldine McLain. He was a veteran of the United States Army and later worked as a welder.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard “Dick” McLain and Bud McLain.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Debbie McLain of the home; daughter, Lisa McLain of Granite Falls; step daughter, Kristie Horne of Granite Falls; step son, Toby Horne of Granite Falls; siblings, Barb Reichart , Donald McLain, Robert “Bob” McLain, and Jim McLain; non biological daughter, Angie Hennessee; special granddaughter, Destiny Crouch, feline grandchildren, Abby, Emma, and Meek; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 3:00PM Saturday, March 14, 2026 in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service.

Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service, on Saturday from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at Mackie Funeral Service.
