Phillip Todd Clontz

Mr. Philip Todd Clontz, 64, of Hildebran passed away July 5, 2026, in Hickory, NC.

Philip was born March 13, 1962, in Caldwell County to the late Oscar Clontz and Matilda Leonhardt Clontz. He worked in furniture manufacturing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his older brothers, Byron Clontz and Bobby Clontz; sister-in-law, Sharon Clontz; and brothers-in-law, Wayne Hamby and Carroll Vance.

Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Carol Hamby of Granite Falls, Aleta Blevins and husband Gary of Richmond, KY, Toni Vance of Connelly Springs, and Daniel Clontz and wife Angela of Hildebran; sister-in-law, Jean Clontz of Boone; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private service to honor his life at a later date.
