Nancy Lail Battistelli

Nancy Leona Lail Battistelli, 64, of Lenoir, passed away peacefully on Friday October 30, 2026, at Carolina Rehabilitation of Burke County.

Nancy was born on November 3, 1961, in Catawba County to the late Ralph Lail and Neva “Faye” Broome Lail. She worked for many years in the hosiery business and in the restaurant business.

Nancy was a mother, grandmother, and a friend to everyone. She never met a stranger and loved to talk to anyone and everyone, it made no difference who they were. She loved making handmade gifts to give to people. The beach was her happy place. Above all she loved her family the most.

In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Battistelli; a sister, Rita Edwards; a brother-in-law, Mickie Edwards; a brother, Stephen Lail; and her best friend, Valerie Lisenby.

Those left to cherish memory are her daughter, Samantha Keller of Lenoir (William); grandchildren, Nathanie Lail, Alyssa Keller, William “Josiah” Keller, and Isabella “Izzy” Keller which were her favorite people; and a sister, Geraldine Morrison; Many nieces, nephews, and cousins; her dog, Little Bit; and numerous friends.

There will be no formal services at this time.
