Misty Dawn Price

On June 24th, 2025 our beloved Misty Price, 46, went to her heavenly home at her residence. She was loved and cherished by everyone who got the chance to meet her. Misty always had a loving smile on her face regardless of all the pain she was suffering in the last several years.

Misty was born on September 9, 1978 in Lenoir, NC to the late William Calvin Hicks and Mary Ann White. Misty was a dedicated mother and homemaker, and was a member of Poarch Chapel Missionary Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson Tucker Griffin.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Jason B. Price of the home; her sisters, Rebecca Coburn and husband James, Jessica Parsons, and Tina Chandler and husband Chris all of Lenoir; her sons, Jonathan Griffin and wife April of Wilkesboro and Gabriel Price of the home; her daughter, Adrianna Griffin of the home; her four grandchildren that she absolutely adored, Junior, Hunter, Grayson and Lacey Griffin; a special mention of her aunt Catherine White, who is dear and special for helping raise her from a young age. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, along with aunts, uncles and cousins whom all Misty loved.

A Funeral Service and Celebration of Misty’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday July 5, 2025 in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls, with Rev. James Coburn, Rev. Mike Greene, and Rev. Raymond officiating the service. Interment will follow at Laurel Haven Cemetery in Lenoir.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Saturday July 5, 2025 at Mackie Funeral Service, 35 Duke Street Granite Falls, NC.

Pallbearers will be, Travis Garland, Terry King, Gabriel Price, Rebecca Coburn, Jessica Parsons and Jonathan Griffin.
