Michael Ellis Presnell

Michael Ellis Presnell, 44, of Hudson, passed away Friday January 2, 2026 at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

Michael was born on July 30, 1981 in Caldwell County to Richard Ellis Presnell of Hudson and Susan Mason Goodbread of Florida. He was formerly employed by Huffman Finishing in Maintenance, and he was dearly loved and will be missed by his family, and all who knew him.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his children, Elijah Church of Lenoir and Michael Lipscomb of Belmont; his siblings, April Reese and husband Bruce of Granite Falls; John Goodbread and Scott Goodbread both of Florida; and two nephews, Caleb Reese of Statesville and Noah Reese of Granite Falls.

A service of remembrance will be announced at a later date.
