Michael Shannon Myers 60, of Lenoir passed away on April 13, 2026, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital following a period of declining health.
Michael was born on January 8, 1965, in Catawba county to the late Luke Myers and Geneva Gilley Myers. Michael was a devoted father of two, always present when they needed him most. He cherished time with family and friends and found great joy in playing with the local Hickory softball during his younger years for the Ballers and the Gas Lite West teams.
In addition to his mother and father Michael is proceeded in death by his sister Shirlene Mathis.
Those left to cherish the memory of Michael include his daughters; Carrie Myers of Gamewell and Jennifer Myers of Gamewell. Siblings; Rebecca Watkins of Lenoir and Bill Myers of Lenoir. Also surviving are two Grandchildren Willow Watson of Gamewell and Atlas Ward of Gamewell.
