Lena Coffey Clark

Lena Fay Coffey Greene Clark, 93, of Lenoir, went home to be with her lord on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at UNC Health Blue Ridge in Morganton, following a period of declining health.

Lena was born on May 26, 1932, in Caldwell County to the late Robert Coffey and Crettie Coffey. She was a loving mother and grandmother who led her family with faith, compassion, and strength. A devoted member of Rufus Baptist Church, she lived her life grounded in service and love.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Greene, and her second husband, Homer Clark; Her 3 sisters, Lilly Mae Greene, Beulah Nicholes, and Mary Bell Nicholes; Her 3 brothers, Thomas Coffey, Jay Coffey, and Robert Coffey; and Her son In Law, Charles Warren.

Those left to cherish her memories include her sister Beadie Clark; her 2 children, Michael Greene and wife Teresa of Cherry Grove, and Janice Warren of Lenoir; her 3 Grandchildren, Tammy Moore and husband Allen of Lenoir, Stephanie Greene of Winston Salem, and Breanna Brooks and husband Preston of High Point. Great-grandchildren Matthew Parsons and wife Casey of Lenoir, Makayla Ryan and husband Damien of Lenoir, Camden Mills, Aiden Brooks, Mia Brooks, and Talan Brooks, all of High Point; Great-grandchildren Joseph Parsons, Hunter Ryan, Isabella Parsons, and Holden Ryan, all of Lenoir. Also surviving are numerous other relatives and two special caregivers, Kay Gosnell and Donna Minton.

The family will receive friends on Thursday January 1, 2026, from 12:00-2:00 at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.

A funeral Service will be held following the visitation at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Clark Cemetery in Lenoir.
