Kelsey Leigh-Ann Gladden Dyer

Kelsey Leigh-Ann Gladden Dyer, 28, of Hickory, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025.

Kelsey was born on June 12, 1997, in Catawba County, to Jason Gladden and Chasity Boughman. She was a stay-at-home mother and loved her children dearly.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert Gladden; her maternal grandfather, Ronnie Boughman; and her stepbrother, Andrew Her.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband, William “Trace” Dyer; her daughters, Lillian Dyer and Malia Dyer; her mother, Chasity Boughman; her father, Jason Gladden (wife Julie); her brother, Triston Gladden (wife Madison); her sister, Sahara Gladden; her half-sister Jayla Gladden; her step-brothers, Adam Her and Joshua Her (Stephanie); her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mark and Lisa Dyer; her sisters-in law, Katie Whitehurst (Chad) and Jamie Beasley (Brandon); her brother-in-law, Hunter Dyer; her grandparents, Carol Beasley (Michael), Gerald Davis and Catherine Greer; also surviving are many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 20, 2025, in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls, with Rev. Tony Childers officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.
