Katherine Ann Morris Gibson

Mrs. Katherine Ann Morris Gibson, 56, of Hudson, formerly of Port Huron, Michigan, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026, at Amorem Hospice in Valdese following a period of declining health.

Katherine was born December 6, 1969, in St. Clair County, MI to the late Spurgie Morris and Geraldine Bedford Morris. In her free time, she enjoyed playing World of Warcraft and Minecraft. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother by her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Gibson; sister, Kristina Morris (Al Fretenborough); brother, Norman Beaver “Junior”; and past lover, Wayne Jarrett.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Christopher Gibson and wife Karrie of Sandusky, MI, Thomas Gibson, II of Hudson, Amber Gibson of Hudson, and Jordan Gibson of Hudson; grandchildren, Allison Gibson, and Everleigh Gibson; sister, Grace Beaver; father of her children, Thomas Gibson of Goodells, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews.
