Karen Lee Snyder Sutton

Karen Lee Snyder Sutton, 83, of Lenoir, entered into eternal rest on Thursday March 5, 2026 at her residence following a period of declining health.

Karen was born on March 13, 1942 in York County, Pennsylvania to the late Leslie Syder and Loreen Shupp Snyder. She worked for many years with International Paper, and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Charles Sutton, Jr. and wife Debi of Lenoir; four grandchildren, James Sutton, Tiah Rogers (Billy), Joshua Sutton, and Taria Sutton (TJ); her sister, Nita Pierre; her brother, Leslie Snyder; also surviving are thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In keeping with Karen’s wishes, the family will hold a private service.
