Karen Kay Mast

Mrs. Karen Kay Mast, 61, of Patterson passed away and entered her heavenly home on July 12, 2026, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center.

Mrs. Mast was born on July 15, 1964, in Meridian Mississippi to the late Billy Glenn Berry and Emogene Greer Whisnant. Mrs. Mast was a loving and kind woman with a generous heart who was always willing to help others. She loved cooking for family and friends and found joy in sharing meals with those she cared about. She will be remembered as loving women and a loving wife. Her warm smile, laughter, and caring spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

In addition to her mother and father Mrs. Mast is proceeded in death by two brothers; Darrell Berry and Bill Berry, Stepfather; Terry Whisnant and her nephew; Little bill Berry.

Those left to cherish the memory of Mrs. Mast include her loving husband of 16 years Clarence Mast of the home, Sisters; Sharon Wynn of Collettsville, Crystal Reyes and husband Pedro of Taylorsville. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made out to Amorem Hospice at 902 Kirkwood Street, NW Lenoir, NC 28645

A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
