Joyce Barlow Childers

Mrs. Joyce Barlow Childers, 77, of Lenoir passed away Friday, January 23, 2026 at Lenoir Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

She was born March 25, 1948 to the late Eskel Harris Barlow and Rea Pearl Barlow. Joyce worked for many years in the Hosiery industry and she will be remembered with love and greatly missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Terry Childers, and numerous other family members.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Jennifer Childers and spouse Timothy; son, David Webb; grandchildren, Amber, Chelsea, and Trevor; and great-grandchildren, William, Sophia, and Marley.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Granite Falls, with the Rev. Dr. Josh Lail officiating.

A celebration of life will be announced and held at a later date.
