Joshua Cody Pete Nappier

Joshua Cody Pete Nappier, 45, of Sherrills Ford, passed away Sunday July 20, 2025, at his residence.

Joshua was born on February 13, 1980, in Ft. Bragg, NC to Lisford Carl Nappier, Jr. and the late Debra Darlene Crouch Nappier. He worked for many years at IFH as a warehouse associate, and most recently at Publix in Sherrills Ford. Joshua was also a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Claremont. He was a kind and gentle soul-a devoted father, a loving husband, a cherished brother, and a beloved son. His quiet strength and boundless humor brought light and comfort to everyone around him. A man of deep dedication, Josh worked tirelessly, not only in his career but also in the way he cared for his family and friends.

Josh touched countless lives with his generosity, good nature, and steady presence. Though he has left us far too soon, his spirit lives on in the memories he created and the love he gave so freely. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his wife Erin Elizabeth Edmondson Nappier; and an infant brother Dustin Nappier.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Chloe Allison Nappier, Vollerei Astele Nappier, and Caroline Grace Nappier; his two sisters, Summer Brandy Nappier and husband Chase Bunton; and Jen Nappier; his father, Lisford Carl “Pete” Nappier; also surviving is one niece, Brena Bolick and one nephew, Regan Nappier

A Service of Remembrance, and to celebrate the life of Joshua Nappier will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday August 9, 2025, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Claremont, with Pastor Eric Hollar officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at Bethel Lutheran Church, 5759 Bolick Road Claremont, NC 28610.
