Mr. Jonathan Paul Hawks, 41, of Hudson passed away Friday, February 20, 2026 at UNC Health Blue Ridge in Morganton following a period of declining health.

Jonathan was born December 10, 1984 in Winston Salem, NC. He worked at MDI.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Sheila Baker Hawks of Hudson; father, Michael Wayne Hawks of Hickory; brother, Jason Lee Hawks of Hickory; nephew Elijah James Hawks; aunt, Andrea Sloop and husband Joe of Summersville; uncles, Keith Baker and wife Lonnie of Seattle, WA, and Stanley Baker and wife Jean of Hudson. Also surviving are a host of cousins and other extended family members.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.

A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service with the Rev. Gerald Robinette officiating.
