Jerry Addison Sharpe, Sr.

Mr. Jerry Addison Sharpe, Sr. 88, of Granite Falls passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Amorem Hospice in Hudson following a period of declining health.

Jerry was born September 29, 1937 in Alexander County to the late Henry Sharpe and Dora Thomlas Sharpe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Sharpe, Jr; and daughter, Terry Sharpe.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Juanita Sharpe of the home; son, Dennis Sharpe and wife Jackie of Granite Falls; grandchildren, Billy Sharpe and wife Barbara, Casey Sharpe, Baby Jerry, Clinton Childers and wife Kasey, and Jessie Childers and wife Natalie; numerous great grandchildren; and extended family members, Jennifer, Jeremy, Melony, and Dale.

A private service will be held at a later date.
