Howard Thomas Jackson

Howard Thomas Jackson, 60, of Granite Falls, passed away unexpectedly Thursday April 9, 2026 at his residence.

Thomas was born on November 18, 1965 in Bartholomew, Indiana to Rose Kralik Jackson of Granite Falls, and the late Raymond Lee Jackson, Sr. He was a brick mason for many years working in the construction industry. Whether he was casting a line fishing or working on cars, the his greatest love was his family. He adored his grandchildren and took immense pride in their time together. His infectious enthusiasm and zest for life made him a joy to be around, and he had a remarkable ability to brighten any room. He will be remembered for his warm spirit and the love he brought to every gathering.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother Robert Kralik.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Rose Kralik Jackson of Granite Falls; his sons, Thomas Jackson of Madisonville, TN; Nelson Jackson of Newport, TN and Christopher McNeely; his brothers, Raymond Jackson of Granite Falls and Albert Paul Jackson of Granite Falls; his sister, Sissy Phillips of Granite Falls; his grandchildren, Asyalee Jackson, Allyson Jackson, Charles Jackson, Freya-Ann Jackson, Raylan Jackson, Caleb Reece and Destiny Reece.

The family will receive friends Tuesday April 14, 2026 from 5:00-6:00 P.M. at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.

A Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service, with Rev. Jonathan Reece officiating.
