Guy Harold Williams

Mr. Guy Harold Williams, 94, of Granite Falls passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Hickory Falls Health and Rehab following a period of declining health.

Mr. Williams was born March 7, 1932, in Caldwell County to the late Millard O. Williams and Lottie Richards Williams. He was a faithful member of Dudley Shoals Baptist Church.

Mr. Williams will be remembered as a humble man who was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Ball Williams; son, Matthew O. Williams; brother, Paul Williams; sister, Mabel Inez Carter; and son-in-law, Richard Sears.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Guynell Williams Sears of Conover, Harold Williams and wife Suzanne of Columbia, SC, Mary Williams Moore and husband Michael of Wake Forest; daughter-in-law, Robin Williams of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Abby Deal and husband Arnold of Hildebran, Richard Alexander Sears and wife Christina of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Stephanie Gentile and husband Anthony of Lexington, SC, Logan Moore and wife Julia of Chattanooga, TN, Jacob Moore and wife Shelby of Wilmington, NC, Jonathan Moore and wife Alexa of Tucson, AZ, Levi Moore of Wake Forest, Cody Williams of Mills Creek, Megan Williams of Greenville, SC, and Seth Williams of Mills Creek. Also surviving are numerous great grandchildren and a host of church family members at Dudley Shoals Baptist.

A funeral service will be held 12:00PM Friday, June 26, 2026 at Dudley Shoals Baptist Church with the Rev. Kyle Lloyd and Rev. Roger Parker officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dudley Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00AM to 12:00PM in the Sanctuary at Dudley Shoals Baptist Church.
