Glenn Dale Coffey

Glenn Dale Coffey, 62, of Granite Falls, went home to be with his lord on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

Dale was born on November 8, 1962, in Caldwell County to the late Ira and Elsie Coffey.

In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Gary Coffey and Donald Harmon, and his sister Karen Coffey.

Glenn was a man of many passions, with a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a strong devotion to his family. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was a quiet day spent in nature or sharing time with loved ones. Among his favorite pastimes was riding motorcycles, a hobby that brought him a sense of freedom and adventure that perfectly matched his spirited personality.

Those left to cherish his memories are his son, Wesley Coffey of Marathon, Florida. Sister, Sarah Baker, and husband Mike of Hudson. Nieces and nephews: Cheryl Gulda and husband Bill of Granite Falls, Stacy Burgess and husband Chris of Vale, Willy Baker and Wife Casey of Lenoir, and Chelsea Baker of Asheville. Also surviving are numerous great nieces and nephews.
