Ernest Randolph Church

Ernest Randolph “Randy” Church, 77, of Hudson, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 13, 2026, at his residence following a period of declining health.

Randy was born on December 12, 1948, in Caldwell County, to the late Jake Church and Rose Moose Church. He was a hosiery machine fixer for many years with Adams Millis Corporation and will be missed by his family and all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Amelia Wilson Church of the home; his sons, Carlos Joey Church (Lynette) of Missouri and Clarence Church (Samantha) of Hudson; his sister, Annie Huffman of Hickory; his brother, Leroy Church of Lenoir; and five grandchildren.

In keeping with his wishes there will be no formal services.
