Eddie Harold Gantt

Eddie Harold Gantt, 73, of Vale, NC, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, at Brockford Inn Assisted Living Facility in Granite Falls.

Eddie was born on June 5, 1952, in Cleveland County to the late G.T Gantt and Kathleen Lackey Gantt. Eddie was a devoted member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and a man of deep, unwavering faith. He trusted in the Lord as his guiding light throughout his life. Eddie spent many years as a truck driver, a profession he truly loved and took great pride in. Known for his humor and quick wit, he was affectionately called “Eddie ‘Joker’ Gantt” by friends and colleagues, a nickname that reflected the laughter and joy he brought wherever he went.

The Gantt Family has requested that there be no services at this time.
