Doris Cannon Gragg

Mrs. Doris Cannon Gragg, 76, of Hudson, passed away Friday, August 7, 2026 at Amorem Hospice following a period of declining health.

Doris was born December 4, 1949 in Caldwell County to the late Robert R. Cannon and Mabel C. Cannon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Gragg; brother, Dewey Cannon; and sisters, Bonnie Cannon and Iris Marley.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Thomas “Tommy” Gragg and wife Kim; grandchildren, Macey Patton and husband Michael, Maura King and husband Nathan, soon to be great grandson, Masten Patton; great grandson, Gatlin King; and siblings, Louis “Grandpa” Cannon and wife Karen, Charlie Cannon and wife Jane, Lorie “Sis” Cannon, and Pearl “Cricket” Ekard. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 3:00PM Monday, August 10, 2026 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir with the Rev. Steve Coonse officiating.
