Dean Esley Colvard

Dean Esley Colvard, 44, of Lenoir, departed this life to his heavenly home on Monday, November 17, 2025, at his residence.

Dean was born on September 16, 1981, to Evelyn Wilson and the late Billy Earl Colvard. He was a man of strong Baptist faith and a gentle spirit, known by all who loved him for his generous heart and kind nature. Dean had a natural talent for working on cars, often spending his free time under the hood, doing what he enjoyed most. He also found happiness in simple pleasures, such as playing games with friends and family, and showing affection to the animals he adored.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold Dean and Ruth Watson, and stepbrother Michael Colvard, and three uncles, Tommy, Tony, and Randy Howell

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Evelyn Wilson, and partner Costella Dixon of Lenoir, and his uncles. Gregory Howell of Lenoir, Gordon Howell and wife Sheila of Lenoir, and Anthony Howell of Lenoir.
