Darren Bruce Staton

Mr. Darren Bruce Staton 59 of Lenoir departed this life and entered his heavenly home on Thursday June 4, 2026, at his residence.

Darren entered this world on May 12, 1967, in Caldwell County to the late Boyd Bruce Staton and Louise Laws Staton. Mr. Darren was a light in this world, known for his kind heart and ability to make everyone laugh. He dedicated many years to HT Hackney as Director of Transportation and was respected by all who worked with him. In his free time, he loved being outdoors, especially hunting with friends whenever he had the chance. His warm spirit and friendship will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is  preceded in death by his father, Boyd Bruce Staton; his mother, Louise Laws Staton; grandparents, Fritz and Sophie Laws, and Charles and Mae Staton.

Those left to Cherish his memory include his sister Lisa Triplett of Granite Falls; Nephews Aaron Triplett of Granite Falls and Alex Triplett of Granite Falls; also surviving is his great niece Sophie Triplett of Granite Falls.

Per the families request there will be no services held at this time.
