Danny Lawson Bowman

Danny Lawson Bowman, 83, of Granite Falls, passed away on May 31, 2026, following a brief illness.

He was born on February 21, 1943, to the late Edna Bowman. Danny was known for his independent nature and enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and relaxing while watching westerns. He was known for his stubborn spirit and the companionship he shared with his beloved cats Abby and Daisy.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris Jane Burgess Bowman.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Alyssa Willis and husband Timothy Willis of Newton; his stepdaughter, Valerie Beckett; his grandchildren, Taylor Moose, Theodore Willis, and Aurora Willis; his great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Ellie, and Oliver.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service.
