Corey Heath Pridemore

Mr. Corey Heath Pridemore, age 48, of Rhodhiss, was welcomed into Heaven and embraced by the loving arms of God on August 16, 2026, at Frye Regional Medical Center.

Corey entered this world on November 5, 1977, in Catawba County to Mrs. Sharon Miller Pridemore and the late Mr. Joseph William Pridemore.

Corey had a heart of gold and touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He dedicated much of his life to working in the upholstery business, where he took pride in his work and the skills he developed throughout the years. Corey also enjoyed working out and staying active. Above all, his greatest joy was his children, whom he loved dearly. He especially cherished the time he spent coaching his late son, Mason Pridemore’s football team, creating memories that will forever be treasured. Corey will be remembered as a loving father, a dedicated coach, and a truly great man whose kindness, love, and presence left an everlasting impression on everyone around him.

In addition to his father, Corey is preceded in death by his son, Mason Cole Pridemore, and sister, Robin Grundy.

Those left to cherish the memory of Corey include his fiancé, Cody Leatherman of Connelly Springs. Mother: Sharon Pridemore of Rhodhiss, children: Kaden Pridemore and Chloe Pridemore of the home, Step-Children; Dixie Leatherman and Heidi Leatherman of Connelly Springs. Nephew; Justin McCrain. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Mackie Funeral Service on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 6 PM to 8 PM. The family welcomes all who knew and loved Corey.
