Charles Bruce Turner

Charles “Chuck” Bruce Turner, Jr., 66, of Lexington, SC passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026 at his home.

Chuck was born April 25, 1960 in Charlotte, NC to the late Charles Bruce Turner, Sr. and Joyce Marshall Turner. He will be remembered as a hardworking dedicated man, owning a masonry company in Columbia, SC. Outside of work, he was a loyal fan of the Carolina Tarheels and Atlanta Braves. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting. His greatest passion was his family. He cherished every opportunity to spend time with his children and grandchildren. Few things brought him greater joy than watching his sons play baseball. Chuck also loved to sing.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Neely Hill and husband Brick of Shelby, Nicholas Turner and wife Anna of Decatur, GA, Mason Turner of Lexington, SC; Chucky Anderson and fiancé Erica Leaphart of Lexington, SC, and Josh Osegueda and wife Suzanne of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Harper Hill, Rowyn Hill, Lillian Turner, and Mac Osegueda; siblings, Sheri Townsend and husband Johnny of Hickory, Jeanine “Neaner” Carpenter of Hickory, and Barry Turner and wife Cheryl of California; nieces and nephews, Ryan Carpenter, Jeremy Townsend, Brandi Townsend, Rio Turner, Dakota Turner, Teryn Chapin, and Tawni Jehnke; and the mothers of his children, Ruby Clemmons of Hickory and Lisa A. Jones of West Columbia, SC.

A funeral service will be held 3:00PM Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Temple Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Darrell Hatchell officiating.

Interment will follow in the Temple Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service from 2:00PM to 3:00PM at Temple Hill Baptist Church.
