Charles Edward Fletcher

Charles Edward Fletcher, 59, of Sawmills, passed away peacefully on Sunday August 17, 2025, at Amorem Hospice in Valdese following a period of declining health.

Charles was born on June 22, 1966, in Worcester, MA Wiley Fletcher and the late Catherine Dupont Fletcher. He worked for many years as a long-distance truck driver, and was loved by his family and friends, and will deeply missed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Michelle Barlow Fletcher of the home; his father, Wiley Fletcher of Granite Falls; bonus son, Tim Law (Heather); his bonus grandchildren, Hunter, Holland, Harlee and Harlow and family in the UK; his brothers, Terry Fletcher of Sawmills, Rickey Fletcher of Granite Falls, Chad Fletcher of Sawmills, Christopher Fletcher of Corpus Christi, TX, Chip Fletcher of Panama City, FL, and Champ Fletcher of Sawmills; his sister, Randee Fletcher Osborne of Sawmills, Cheryl Fletcher Burris of Panama City, FL and Chrystal Fletcher Appling of Bowling Green, KY; also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family members.

A Private Memorial Service will be held by the family at a later date.
