Mr. Charles Michael Burns, Sr., 82, of Granite Falls passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Hickory Falls Nursing Center following a period of declining health.
Charles was born July 5, 1943 in Damascus, VA to the late Robert Burns and Ella May Richardson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, one brother, two nieces, and two nephews.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Jeannie Burns of Granite Falls; children, David Burns, Charles Burns, Jr., Dustin Burns, Jennifer Burns, and Joshua Burns; numerous grandchildren; mother-in-law, Janice Cornett; and father-in-law, Jimmy Phillips, Sr.
