Charles Lee Adcock

Charles Lee Adcock, Jr., 92, of Granite Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at his residence.

Charles was born on January 2, 1934 in Gaston County to the late Charlie Lee Adcock and Gertie Guy Adcock. He served his country with distinction as a veteran of the United States Army, carrying that dedicated spirit in to a career at Shuford Mills, where he served until his retirement as a supervisor. A man of steadfast faith, he was a long time member of Dudley Shoals Baptist Church in Granite Falls.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Armstrong Adcock.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Michael Lee Adcock and wife Cedron of Valdese; his grandchildren, Cody Lee Adcock and wife Rosie, and Charlie Adcock Bradshaw; and his great-grandchildren, Emma Adcock, Talon Joshua Bradshaw, Raegan Renee Bradshaw and Ivy Grace Bradshaw.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday October 27, 2026 in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls, with Rev. Jeff Laney officiating. Military honors will follow the service and be presented by the N.C. National Guard and Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard.

A private interment will be held at Dudley Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery.
