Carter Lee Roosa

Carter Lee Roosa, 62, of Rhodhiss, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday November 13, 2025 at Atrium Health of Lake Norman following a lengthy illness.

Carter was born on December 30, 1962 in Pike County, OH to the late James Silvester Roosa and Elsie Phillips Roosa. He was employed by Wayne’s Farms and was a member of Victory Above Only Ministries.

Those left to cherish his memory is his brothers, James “Rooster” Roosa and wife Teresa of Hickory and Lee Allen Johnson and Star of Connelly Springs; his nieces, Geri Lynn Johnson of Connelly Springs and Kelly Johnson of Winston-Salem; his nephews, Matthew Roosa and wife Arin, Robert Herman Myers of Connelly Springs and James Matthew Roosa of Statesville; and a great-nieces and nephews, Alexandra Smith of Dysartsville, Corwson Roosa, and Malarie Moose.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday November 17, 2025 in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls, officiating Pastor David Robinson.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.
