Carolyn Tilda Clark Brown

Carolyn Tilda Clark Brown, 88, of Sawmills, passed away March 2, 2026, at Amorem Hospice and Palliative Care.

She was born on December 4, 1937, to the late Rose Belle Bentley Clark and Marvin Onnel Clark. She is preceded by both parents and her brother, Lee Roy Clark.

She was a furniture sprayer for 35 years and a CNA for 10 years, retiring in 2007 to become a full-time grandmother.

She is survived by her sister Carrie Rilda Pierce, Husband Fred, her two daughters, Roberta Lynn Kelly and Vera Annette Allen, Husband Jonathan, three grandchildren, David Blankenship, Alex Allen, and Sarah Allen, and five great-grandchildren

The funeral service for Carolyn Tilda Clark Brown will be on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 12:00 PM, in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service, with Rev. Edd Warren officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 11:00-12:00 PM at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.

Interment will follow the service at Sunrise Baptist Church cemetery.
