Carole Harris Connor

Mrs. Carole Harris Connor, 88, of Granite Falls passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025 at her home, following a period of declining health.

Mrs. Connor was born September 29, 1937 in Kinston, NC to the late Frank Hughes Harris and Rose Taylor Harris. She served as Principal of Covenant Fellowship School for twenty years and was a faithful member of Hope in Christ Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Charles Connor; grandchildren, Jonathan Connor and Jenni Connor; and sister, Roseanne Moore.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Matthew Charles Connor of Sierra Vista, AZ, and David Benjamin Connor and wife Rebecca Bass Connor of Granite Falls; grandchildren, Daniel Connor of Pittsburg, PA, Gloria Pierce of Charlotte, Bryan Connor of Fayetteville, Rachel Regalado of Charlotte, Katherine Murray of Oklahoma City, OK, Marianna Colbath of Raleigh, Jesse Connor of Wilmington, and Will Connor of Granite Falls; sixteen great-grandchildren; and siblings, Joyce Ennis of Smithfield, and Frank Harris, Jr. of Clayton.

The family will receive friends prior to the service, on Saturday from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at Hope in Christ Church.

A funeral service will be held 3:00PM Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Hope in Christ Church with the Rev. Randy Bowlin officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
