Brenda Mae Craig

Brenda Mae Stephens Craig, 71, of Hickory passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025 at her home.

Brenda was born September 15, 1954 in Catawba County to the late James Wiley Stephens and Ella Mae Fox Stephens.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Alfred Craig; and sister, Jennie Carolyn Harald.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, James Alfred Craig of Lenoir, Kelly Joe Jersey of Lenoir, and Jan Marie Craig of Granite Falls; three grandchildren, one great grandchild; siblings, James Stephens, Gerald Stephens, John Stephens, Mitchell Stephens, Ronald Stephens, and Donald Stephens, all of Hickory; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 14, 2025 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Winklers Grove Baptist Church.

A memorial service will follow at 11:00AM with the Rev. Paul Deal officiating.
