Bradley Trent Davis

Bradley Trent Davis, 35, of Hickory passed away unexpectedly on Monday October 12, 2026 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory. Bradley was born October 28, 1990 in Catawba County to Ricky Hugh Davis and Kristy Moore Davis. He was a member at Concord Baptist Church in Granite Falls where he was saved at nine years old and attended many church camps when he was younger. He was Valedictorian of his Pre K Class at Tabernacle Christian School. Bradley graduated as Valedictorian at South Caldwell High School where his family enjoyed watching him play many sports. He graduated from Davidson College where he continued his football career. He was a dad, son, grandson, cousin, nephew, spouse, and a friend to many. Everyone loved him. He loved to be with his family and would do anything to help them out. He was a coach for many years at Granite Falls Recreation Department for his own children, along with many others. He loved playing video games. He loved playing fantasy football and would get the whole family together to get it done. His two favorite teams were Duke and the Dallas Cowboys. He was so well rounded and a joy to be around. Bradley worked at Hampton Inn in Hickory for five years and was a hard worker and very dependable. Bradley leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His sudden departure has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever cherish the vibrant spirit and genuine character he brought to their lives.

Bradley is survived on his maternal side by his mother, Kristy Davis; aunt, Angie Bostain with husband Jamie Bostain and their children, Hunter, Taylor, and Brady Bostain; grandparents, Jim and Gail Moore; great aunts, Iris and Aurelia Moore; and numerous great aunts and uncles on the grandmothers side. Also surviving are numerous cousins all from the greater Hickory area.

Bradley is leaving behind his spouse Jordi Manchester of fourteen years, and his children, Trent Davis and Marie Davis of the home; and Ethan Holbrook of Newton.

Bradley is survived on his paternal side by his father, Ricky Davis; brother, Waylon Davis, both of Lynchburg, VA; his uncles, Tracy, Monty, Casey, Rusty, and Kelly Davis, all of the greater Hickory area; his aunt Penny Moss of York, SC, and Lacey Wondree of Richmond, VA; his grandmother, Cathy Davis of Valdese; and grandfather Danny Davis of Whittier, NC.

May Brad rest peacefully in Heaven. We will miss him dearly here on earth, but we know that we will see him again one day.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 18, 2026 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.

A funeral service will begin at 3:00PM on Sunday October18, 2026 in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service with the Rev. Shawn Davis officiating.

Interment will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery in Granite Falls with Rev. Shawn Davis and Rev. Tom McDonald officiating.
