Boyd Steven Chapman

Boyd Steven Chapman 76, of Granite Falls went home to be with his Lord on Thursday March 19, 2026, at his residence.

Boyd was born on July 31, 1949, to the late Roy Lee Chapman and Ola Mae Walker. Boyd was a dedicated truck driver who loved his work and served his country proudly during the Vietnam War. He was a faithful member of Fellowship Christian Chapel, growing in his love for the Lord. Boyd had a passion for the outdoors and was known as "Mr. Fix-It" for his skills with cars and mechanical work. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Nancy Keller.

Those left to cherish Boyd’s memory include his wife Stella Chapman of Granite Falls; Son Derek Chapman and wife Casey of Granite Falls; Stepsons, Terry Burch Jr. of Granite Falls and Don Burch of South Carolina. Also surviving are numerous Nieces and Nephews.

A celebration of life to honor Boyd’s life will be held on Saturday March 28, 2026, from 4:00PM – 5:00PM At Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.
