Bobby Davis Miller

Bobby Davis Miller, 78, of Lenoir, loving husband, amazing daddy, pawpaw and a great friend to many, went home to be with his Lord on Friday December 12, 2025 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital following a period of declining health.

Bobby was born on July 28, 1947 in Watauga County to the late Thomas Joe Miller and Vernie Verlee Watson Miller. He retired from Thomasville Furniture Company where he worked in the Maintenance department, and was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church in Lenoir. Bobby lived a life marked by a deep connection to the outdoors, a passion for helping others, and a commitment to sharing his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. His faith was a guiding force in his life, inspiring him to treat everyone with kindness, respect and compassion.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Brian Quick; his sister, Carolyn Pritchard; and his sister-in-law, Robin Anderson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Vanessa Quick Miller of the home; his children, Tamela Coffey, Alnitha Miller, Chad Miller, Lynn Gilbert and husband Mark, Angela Martin and husband Jerry, Tara Hamrick and husband Jordan, and Shannon Quick; his siblings, Linda Bradshaw and husband Lee, Kathy Pritchard and husband Terry, and Tammy Turner and husband Paul; also surviving are 8 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Grace Baptist Church in Lenoir.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday December 14, 2025 at Grace Baptist Church, with Pastor Ronnie Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.
