Barbara Ann Baker

Mrs. Barbara Ann Baker, 58, of Lenoir went home to with the lord on Saturday November 7, 2026, at Amorem Hospice House in Valdese.

Barbara was born on June 26, 1968, in Caldwell County to the late Jack Bowman and Deborah Icard. Barbara was a loving wife and devoted mother whose kindness, warmth, and love for her family will always be remembered. A woman of Baptist faith, she cherished her relationship with the Lord and the many blessings in her life. She had a special love for lighthouses, the magic of Christmas, and all animals. She also enjoyed playing badminton and never passed up the opportunity to find a good bargain while shopping. Barbara found joy in the simple things in life and treasured the time spent with those she loved. Her caring heart, joyful spirit, and love for her family will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her mother and father Barbara is preceded in death by her sister; Brenda Lambert and nieces; Amber, Megan and Kayla.

Those left to cherish the memory of Barbara include her loving husband of 36 years Stephen Baker of the home and her son Stephen Logan Baker and wife Jenny of Washington State.
