Albert George Speagle Jr.

Albert George Speagle, Jr., 65, of Hickory, passed away on June 1, 2026, following a long battle with cancer.

He was born on August 21, 1960, to the late Albert George Speagle, Sr. and Clara Gragg Speagle. Albert enjoyed spending time fishing and cherishing the simple pleasures of life. His wife, Tammy, was the love of his life, and he treasured the years they shared together.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Munday Speagle.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Joey Speagle and Micheal Speagle; his grandchildren, Zachery Speagle, Logan Speagle, Lisa Speagle, and Mikey Speagle; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.
